Fischer Elektronik Names Newark/Element14 as Its Sole North American Distributor

Newark /element14, a leading multi-channel, high-service electronics distributor in the Americas and a business of global Premier Farnell, announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement with Fischer Elektronik to market its board-level heat sinks for common package semiconductors plus extruded and finger-shaped heat sinks to support LED design and industrial applications. This agreement extends an existing franchise with Farnell, Newark/element14's sister distributor in Europe.

"Fischer is well known in Europe for developing innovative thermal management products for industrial applications and LED lighting," said Patrick W. Fischer, Managing Director, Fischer Elektronik. "We are confident that Newark's broad reach of industrial and design customers will help us to establish our reputation in North America."
