Taiwan to Focus on 8 Industries Industrial Cooperation with Mainland China

Newly, Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) has scheduled to focus eight rising industries including Chinese herbal medicine, telecommunications, electric vehicle, renewable energy, business services, LED lighting, metal materials, biotech and medical equipment, on the agenda in the regular talks on industrial cooperation with mainland China.

For LED lighting industry, Taiwan intends to suggest the mainland add province-level prefecture to city-level prefecture as field-test ground for LED lighting.

The ministry will suggest the mainland to open Shandong, Shanxi, Jiangsu and northeastern provinces in the initial stage.
