The 6W LED desk lamp Accoona has a fairly sleek and modern luminaire design, and has a color temperature of 6,000-6,500K. In addition, the luminaire is a 600 lumens lamp.

However, what catches gadget lovers attention is how the desk lamp base can serve as a wireless charging deck.

The design team has designed wireless charging receivers for most mainstream smartphone models including for iPhone 4 models and above, and several Samsung flagship smartphone models. Sony and Motorola smartphone users, though, will have to wait since there is currently no wireless charging support.

Early backers of Acoonna will receive the LED lamp by May 2015. The design team has so far raised US $1,624 out of its US $20,000 goal.
