Lextar Continues Product Adjustments and New Technology Developments

Lextar has reported revenue drop in September due to its continuous product adjustments. The company registered a revenue of NT$ 98 million (US$ 3.17 million) for September with a decrease of 6.7% YoY.

According to the company, it has shipped the lighting products in advance by the second and the third quarters of 2018, which led to a decrease in revenue in September. Nevertheless, Lextar’s Mini LED products have gained attentions from its clients since the release in August. Its Mini LED backlights will be adopted in gaming and drawing displays, according to Lextar. Meanwhile, the shipment of backlight products remains stable.

Lextar has showcased its Micro LED development and Mini LED display modules at Touch Taiwan 2018 in August. The company had addressed its focus on new technology developments including Mini/Micro LED, aiming to work with its clients on various applications.
