Next Lighting Corp., a leading developer of LED-based linear lighting products, announced the appointment of Dr. Thomas Katona as Vice President of Products.  He will have responsibility for all aspects of product marketing and engineering.

Katona joins Next Lighting after previously working with Soraa Inc., serving in various management roles in engineering, marketing and business development since 2009.  He has been working with LEDs for over 13 years, having received a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara, a renowned center for solid-state lighting research.
