Larson Electronics Adds New Magnalight 4 Foot 4 Lamp Explosion Proof LED Light

Larson Electronics added a new four foot, four lamp explosion proof LED light, with UL 844 Class 1 and Class 2 ratings for hazardous locations. The 96 watt explosion proof LED light produces more light than the same configuration equipped with T5HO bulbs. While the EPL-48-4L-LED is available for pendant or surface mount, the EPLC-48-4L-LED is configured on a cart with four casters, protective wire guard and switch and cord. Both explosion proof LED lights are certified for use as paint spray booth lights and powder spray booth lights in addition to their UL Class 1 Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1 hazardous location ratings.

“These explosion proof LED lights work well for paint spray booth operators because of they are lightweight, brighter and more durable than our standard fluorescent configurations,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics’ magnalight.com. “In addition, we offer a wide variety of regular and low voltage options, while saving the customer and least half of the electricity usage. With 50,000 hours of life per bulb and high vibration tolerance, operators can spend more time coating and less time changing bulbs. Finally, all of our hazardous location rated LED lights will operate on any voltage around the world, including 220V 50Hz making these lights universally acceptable in any country.”
