Cooper Lighting Received NVLAP Accreditation

Currently, National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) has awarded to Cooper Lighting’s Photometric Laboratory, part of its LED Innovation Center, for solid-state lighting test methods in Energy Efficient Lighting Products.

Administered by the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST), NVLAP provides an unbiased third-party evaluation to testing and calibration laboratories.

According to the company, it is listed with LM-79 accreditation under photometric measurements for Solid State Lighting Luminaires - Total Flux Measurements (Luminous Efficacy) and Solid State Lighting Luminaires - Luminous Intensity Measurements.

Moreover, Cooper is accredited for Solid State Lighting Luminaires – Color Characteristics Measurements. It is one of the earliest luminaire manufacturers to achieve this complete SSL accreditation.
