Malaysian LED Vendors Generate US $9.86M at LED Expo Thailand 2015

Malaysian LED manufacturers reportedly have raked in RM 37.1 million (US $9.86 M) at LED Expo Thailand 2015, reported MalayMail Online recently.

Thirteen Malaysian companies joined a Specialized Marketing Mission (SMM) spearheaded by the Malysian government trade organization Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) at the four day trade show that ran from May 20-24, 2015 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center.

According to MATRADE Bangkok Trade Commissioner Niqman Rafaee Mohd Sahar LED market penetration rates in Thailand is currently 10% to 15% and he projected LED market share in the country would reach 70% by 2020.
