[News] Absen Global Benchmark Project 2025

News Source:

Across live entertainment, virtual production, DOOH, sports and corporate & commercial environments, Absen is increasingly selected for projects where scale, technical precision and operational reliability are non-negotiable.

From national cultural celebrations and global music festivals to cutting-edge virtual production facilities and international sporting events, these benchmark projects reflect Absen’s proven ability to support complex creative ambitions with stable, high-performance LED display solutions—delivered consistently across markets and applications.

ProAV & Smart Commercial Spaces

Enabling High-Performance Visual Environments

Beyond large-scale events, Absen’s LED solutions are widely adopted in commercial and enterprise environments where visual precision, system stability and long-term reliability are critical.

At K11 Art Mall Shenzhen, Absen delivered over 600㎡ of LED displays across multiple indoor scenarios. Combining COB 0.9, A1021 and KL series products, the installation forms an immersive, digitally driven retail environment that enhances customer engagement and spatial storytelling.

In Shanghai, Absen supported a leading technology company’s computing command center with the world’s largest indoor COB fine-pitch curved LED display. Powered by COB 0.9, the screen features over 403 million pixels and an ultra-high-resolution matrix of 59,520 x 7,560, setting a new benchmark for large-scale indoor visualization in mission-critical environments.

Live Entertainment & Festivals

Delivering Reliability for Touring and Large-Scale Events

Live entertainment represents one of the most demanding application scenarios for LED display systems. Long operating hours, rapid installation and dismantling, large audience capacities and challenging outdoor conditions place sustained pressure on performance stability and reliability. Absen’s live event solutions have been widely deployed across global concerts and festivals, supporting ambitious stage designs at scale.

In the Middle East, Absen delivered over 2,300㎡ of NT3.9W LED displays for the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi—one of the UAE’s largest national cultural celebrations. Installed in a desert-environment far from urban infrastructure, the project faced extreme heat, strong winds, sand exposure and humidity from surrounding water features. The displays operated continuously during a 62-hour New Year’s fireworks showcase that set multiple Guinness World Records, maintaining stable performance despite heavy smoke, dust and intense light conditions.

Absen’s solutions have also supported major international music events, including BLACKPINK’s Deadline World Tour in Jakarta, Tomorrowland Brasil 2025 in São Paulo, and DWP Bali 2025. These projects combined transparent, outdoor and rental LED systems to meet diverse creative and structural requirements, delivering consistent visual quality for audiences ranging from tens of thousands on-site to millions via live broadcasts.

In Latin America, Absen delivered its largest touring project to date for Tini Stoessel’s FUTTTURA 2025 tour. Spanning nine consecutive shows in Buenos Aires and attracting over 300,000 live attendees with more than one million online viewers, the 2,00㎡ LED stage design emonstrated Absen’s capability to support high-intensity touring schedules at scale.

Virtual Production

Supporting the Future of Film and Content Creation

As virtual production reshapes film, television and commercial content creation, LED display systems must meet strict requirements for pixel precision, color accuracy and real-time performance under camera. Absen continues to support this transition with large-format LED volumes engineered specifically for in-camera visual production.

At the Versatile AI Virtual Volume Base in Deqing, China, Absen delivered a 1,700㎡ monolithic LED volume—the world’s largest single LED virtual production stage. Featuring a 270-degree curved screen with a 50-meter diameter and a height of 12 meters, the installation achieves over 600 million pixels, setting a new benchmark for single-screen resolution.

Using a fine pixel pitch of P1.8mm across the entire structure, the project enables stable image capture at close shooting distances of approximately two meters with zero-latency rendering. Structural precision was maintained with screen flatness controlled within 3mm, meeting the stringent consistency requirements of high-end film and commercial production.

DOOH & Urban Landmarks

Powering High-Impact Visual Communication in City Centers

In dense urban environments, large-format DOOH displays must balance visual impact, structural integration and long-term operational reliability. Absen’s solutions have been applied to landmark installations designed to serve as enduring anchors for city-level commercial communication.

In Zhengzhou, China, Absen delivered a 2,588㎡ glasses-free 3D LED display at Hualian Mall, forming a three-sided integrated screen that dominates one of Central China’s busiest commercial districts. Designed as a permanent urban media landmark, the installation combines large scale, structural complexity and sustained brightness for long-term commercial operation.

In Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle, a 750㎡ Absen A-series LED display was installed at a major traffic intersection with daily footfall exceeding 500,000. Integrating low-carbon display technology with 3D creative content, the project demonstrates how DOOH installations can deliver strong visual impact while meeting environmental efficiency requirements in high-density city centers.

Sports & Global Events

Enhancing Large-Scale Viewing Experiences

Major sports venues and international events require LED systems capable of continuous operation, wide-angle visibility and seamless viewing for large audiences. Absen has delivered large-format display solutions for stadiums and global events where performance stability, visual consistency and audience reach are paramount.

At Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco, Absen installed a 2,570㎡ 360-degree panoramic dome ring display—the largest of its kind in Africa—for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Serving as a core visual element of the venue, the installation ensures uninterrupted visibility for more than 70,000 spectators, transforming the stadium into a fully immersive viewing environment.

Absen also supported the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, deploying LED displays across multiple competition and public zones, including main venues, athlete entrances, information screens and outdoor event areas, ensuring consistent visual delivery throughout the event.

Beyond sports, Absen contributed to Expo 2025 Osaka—one of the world’s largest and most influential global exhibitions—by delivering customized LED solutions for multiple national pavilions, including Australia and Malta. Throughout the six-month event, which attracted over 10 million visitors, Absen’s displays enabled immersive cultural presentations and dynamic storytelling, demonstrating the role of advanced LED technology in large-scale public and cultural events.

Education & Smart Campus: Empowering Digital Learning Spaces
Absen’s iCon Smart Campus solutions are redefining digital learning environments across leading universities in China, including Peking University, Tongji University, Sun Yat-sen University and Sichuan University.

Using iCon X136 and X163 models, these installations support interactive teaching, hybrid learning and digital content delivery. Designed specifically for educational use cases, iCon solutions prioritize eye comfort, operational stability and long-term usability, enabling universities to build future-ready learning environments through intelligent display technology.

A Consistent Global Capability Across Applications
Across diverse application scenarios, Absen’s benchmark projects demonstrate a consistent global capability to translate advanced LED technology into dependable, large-scale visual solutions. Whether supporting live entertainment, virtual production, urban communication or international sporting events, Absen continues to work closely with partners worldwide to deliver display systems that meet the evolving demands of creative, commercial and public environments.
