Although LED lighting industry develops sustainably, but before the introduction of international standardization, every market still has its own specifications, which makes the competitive market to be more chaos; while the cross-strait manufacturers have planned a general specification for nearly two years to jointly develop the LED lighting market, the cross-strait General Specifications of LED lighting products  will be released on June 18, on the part of manufacturers, it is helpful to reduce the research and development expenses and effectively lower the production costs.

With the upcoming Taipei International Optoelectronics Week to be held during June 18 to 20, Taiwan LED Lighting Exhibition to be held in the same period also carried out a series of activities, a press conference will be held on June 18 for the release of "Cross-Strait Common Specification of LED lighting products" at first.

LED lighting Union pointed out that the specifications integration and industrial standardization of the electrical parameters (voltage, current and power, etc.) of the interface between drive circuit and the light emitting module enable that LED modules and driver circuits from different manufacturers come with compatibility and interchangeable functional requirements, then it is available to create modular professional factory, improve product reliability, reduce the expense of R & D and lower the listing cost of lighting products, which will facilitate the users to repair and replace quickly, recovery the convenience and comfort of lighting in the shortest time at the lowest cost, so that producers and users can achieve win-win outcome.
