Foxconn Rumored to have Received Large LED Bulb Order from Philips

Philips is said to be in talks with Foxconn in regards to OEM light bulb production with orders estimated to reach 10 million a year, according to a report by Apple Daily on the 26th. Foxconn declined to comment to the market rumor.

Foxconn has LED bulb production lines set up in Henan, Guangdong, Sichuan and other regions in China, as well as LED street light production  lines in Guizhou. If Foxconn really does receive orders from Philips, the company will introduce equipment for automated production.
