Wearable LED technology is no longer just for humans. A new kickstarter campaign has combined LED technology with an essential pet item to create a light up collar to keep your furry friends safe.

Created by PetAura, the SmartPet Collar is light weight, comfortable, and easy to use. The collar has an operational life of 80 hours and is rechargeable. It is available in six colors, four sizes, and three modes (wink, strobe, constant). The collars are also weather proof.
PetAura has incorporated a NFC (near field communication) tag inside the collar. These tags can store your pet’s vital information including contact information and medical data. It can also be used to electronically open pet doors.
The PetAura kickstarter campaign will run until April 5th.
