Hongshi Intelligent's XC6 full-color MicroLED light engine is used in Skynea's binocular full-color AI glasses, unveiled at New York Fashion Week in September 2026. Skynea, a brand under Shenzhen CDL Precision Technology, introduced the glasses in collaboration with New York fashion label The Blonds.
According to published product information, the glasses weigh less than 50 g and combine binocular full-color waveguide displays with real-time translation, image capture and audio interaction. The show featured a custom colorway for The Blonds, styled alongside the label'srunwaylooks.
High brightness, low power consumption and consistent full-color performance are central to Hongshi's MicroLED light engines for AI glasses. Hongshi's quantum-dot photoresist (QDPR) color-conversion technology delivers bright red emission and vivid color for three-color optical combining. Optimizing brightness, power and image quality together gives eyewear designers more flexibility to balance clear visuals, battery life and wearing comfort.
Hongshi's QDPR color-conversion solution has met the reliability requirements of the customer volume-production programs it supports. This supports dependable display operation in customers' AR glasses.
Hongshi develops MicroLED microdisplay chips and light engines and supplies them in volume. Its work covers component performance, integration into customer products and dependable delivery.
The Skynea launch brings XC6 into another branded eyewear product for the international market. Hongshi will continue working with industry partners to bring full-color displays into lighter AI glasses that fit naturally into daily life, backed by high performance, reliability and consistent volume delivery.
