Los Angeles based startup Sunn launched a smart light that mimics the natural outdoor sunlight.

The human centric lighting is offered in two sizes, the 19-inch Sunn and the 24-inch Sunn Plus. The smaller luminaire uses 240 LEDs and has an output of 3,300 Lumens, while the larger sized Sunn Plus has a LED usage volume of 336 LEDs.
As a dimmable LED, the luminaire’s Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) range of 2,700-6,500 K, and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) above 85.

Bluetooth connection enables the luminaire to be controlled by programmable smartphone Apps.
The smart light can be controlloed using mobile phone apps. The lighting app running on iPhone 6 iOS systems.
The light’s design concept is based on research findings that have associated the impact of lighting on health. Recent studies describe a melanopsin based photoreceptor in human eyes that influences the body's circadian 'clock' system. These melanopsin photoreceptors respond to light stimulation, with a peak spectral sensitivity in the blue range (447 - 484nm) and can suppress or promote the body's production of melatonin based on the context of exposure.
The Sunn Light has acquired immense attention on Kickstarter.
The Kickstarter project has so far raised US $60,104 out of its US $50,000 goal.
