OSRAM’s recently developed LED light engines manage the balancing act between maximum efficiency and light quality – with a light output of 122lm/W they achieve a new maximum with excellent colour reproduction (CRI >90, 2,700K). The Munich lighting manufacturer’s latest LED innovation is a winner with its warm white light (2,700K), colour-rendering index (CRI) of more than 90 and luminous flux of over 1,800lm while using only 15W of power. With its compact size it is especially suited to integration in downlights or spots.

Magnalight.com Adds Surface Mount Billet Encased LED Modules

Larson Electronics' magnalight.com added several new LED lights, including the LEDSM-3X60 and the LEDSM-1X60 mounts for flat and tubular mounting of small LED lights. The LEDSM-3X60 LED light consists of three 250 lumen watertight, potted LED lights encased in an machined aluminum billet housing. The LEDSM-1X60 LED light is similar in construction with only a single water tight LED capsule. The individual LED pods contain 15 LEDs and are fully potted. Each LED has a red and black lead for 12 or 24 volt power.

OptoElectronix Releases High-efficient, 180-degree LED Modules

OptoElectronix announced Wednesday a new series of small, high-efficient, 180-degree LED modules. The round, 60mm (2.35-inch) diameter, aluminum modules are precisely engineered for optimal thermal management. They integrate the LED, lens, and electronics, and are rated for 50,000 hours. The modules are designed to flush mount through a standard 44.5mm (1.75-inch) mounting hole with three screws, and the flange and lens are only 4mm (0.16 inches) thick.
