RoboSense Provides Cold-Resistant LiDAR to Autonomous Shuttle Bus by MUJI and Sensible 4

Chinese LiDAR company RoboSense announced that it has provided a cold-resistant LiDAR for GACHA, the world's first autonomous driving shuttle bus for all weather conditions which was reported by LEDinside last year. GACHA is equipped with RoboSense's advanced cold-resistant 16-beam mechanical LiDAR environment perception system to operate vehicles in harsh winter and other severe weather conditions. Sensible 4 and MUJI Partner to Develop Autonomous Shuttle Bus for All Weather Conditions

Finnish autonomous vehicle developer Sensible 4 announced its partnership with Japanese retail brand MUJI to develop an autonomous shuttle bus which is able to work under any weather condition. Sensible 4 will provide its expertise in autonomous driving technology for functions of the bus such as positioning, navigation and obstacle detection, while MUJI will be in charge of user experience and the look of the vehicle.
