Walmart to Acquire AR Startup Memomi

Few days ago, Walmart announced that it has reached an agreement to buy AR technology developer Memomi, aiming to fulfil its commitment to frictionless and omnichannel optical care. The acquisition is scheduled to be accomplished in the coming weeks, after which Memomi employees will join the Walmart Global Tech organization.
