Compound semiconductor veterans back microLED startup Kubos

Kubos Semiconductors Ltd. (Cambridge, England) has secured investment from Drew Nelson, and Geoff Haynes – veterans of the compound semiconductor sector – and from the Development Bank of Wales, FOV Ventures, and S4C Digital Media Ltd. Kubos Receives $892,000 Grant to Pursue Development of Cubic Gallium Nitride (GaN) MicroLEDs

Kubos Semiconductors, a UK-based developer of MicroLED material technology, has recently been selected as a recipient of a £700,000 ($892,000) Future Economy Investor Partnerships (FEIP) grant.
