Larson Electronics has announced the release of an LED roadway lamp designed to provide superior performance and longevity for more cost effective operation. The RWL-LED-20 48 Watt Street Light provides output comparable to a 70 watt HPS lamp, but with much better light quality, enhanced durability, and a 100,000 hour service rating.

Philips Lumec Wednesday unveiled its newest product, the RoadStar™, a state-of-the-art LED luminaire designed specifically for large area, street, and roadway lighting applications. The RoadStar™ has the potential to reduce by 50% the amount of electricity a city/state/country uses for street and roadway lighting.
