Malaysian LED Lighting Pilot Project

According to Works Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor from Kuala Lumpur, the government can reduce costs by up to 50 per cent with LED bulbs for road lighting. Currently, a pilot project on this had been started in partnership with Royal Philips Electronics involving the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Federal Highway and the Middle-Ring Road 2 (MRR2), entailing a total lenght of 63.1 kilometres.
