1,000 Indian Households to Install Applied Materials’s solar and LED Lighting Systems

Reposts have released that Applied Materials Inc. (Santa Clara, California, U.S.) has made a program to provide access to solar photovoltaic (PV) and LED lighting systems for 1,000 households and ten schools in villages in India at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting in New York City on September 21st, 2011 . LSG to Supply LED lighting for BSES Rajdhani

Sources inform that Lighting Science Group (LSG) will cooperate with BSES Rajdhani Power in the area of LED lighting. Both LSG and power distribution company BSES Rajdhani have entered into an agreement for the collaboration, where the two entities would "explore avenues to demonstrate and promote energy efficiency using the next generation LED lighting".
