GE to manufacture TriGain™, GE’s family of enhanced potassium fluorosilicate (PFS) phosphors for use in LED-based display backlight applications. The TriGain family of phosphors offers improved narrow red band performance, resulting in reds that are sharper and cleaner, enabling richer picture quality and increasing the color gamut for backlit displays.
