GE Invests US$ 30 M to Expand U.S. Incandescent Bulb Production Capacity

GE announced plans to invest US$ 30 million to expand manufacturing capacity in U.S. The investment will add more than 150 jobs at three GE Lighting plants to meet growing consumer demand for energy-efficient incandescent bulbs. The U.S. produced incandescent bulbs will be sold at 3,400 U.S. Walmart stores by summer 2014.
