Nov 4, 2014 ---- The global LED lighting market will reach $25.7 billion dollars and its market penetration will increase to 31% in 2015 as the overall lighting market grows to $82.1 billion, according to a new report by LEDinside, a division of the Taiwan-based market intelligence firm TrendForce.

ForceField Energy Inc., a designer, seller and distributor of energy products and solutions, announced the signing of a LED lighting purchase order for the immediate sale and delivery of LED "High Bay" and LED fluorescent replacement lighting products to a warehouse facility of a Fortune 100 company located in southern United States.

On November 22, 2013, Nichia Corporation filed an amended complaint in its on-going patent infringement lawsuit against Taiwanese LED manufacturer Everlight Electronics Co., Ltd. and Everlight’s U.S. subsidiary Everlight Americas, Inc. (collectively “Everlight”), originally filed on September 11, 2013, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
