September Holidays Affect LedLink 3Q Revenue

Secondary optic lens manufacturer LedLink’s September revenue was affected by the lengthy holiday season this September. With fewer working days this month due to Mid Autumn festival and National Day holidays, as well as low shipments, the company’s consolidated revenue dropped 16.6 percent from August to NT$97.71 million (US$3.33 million) for September. However, the company had a yearly growth of 6.68 percent. 3Q consolidated revenue reached NT$308 million, a slight dip of 1 percent compared with 2Q revenue of NT$310 million.

LedLink pointed out with fewer working days for September due to the extended holidays and lack of client interest in making orders affected the shipment schedule for September causing the revenue for the month to drop compared with August. 3Q consolidated revenue was affected to where it reached NT$308 million, a slight drop compared to the previous quarter.

The company has a positive outlook for 4Q. Although, LedLink still anticipates October to feel the effects of the holidays, it will be much less than September with revenue expected to increase.
