New LED Light-Curing System with Lower Costs and Easy to Control

Dymax introduced a new LED light-curing system—the BlueWave LED DX-1000 VisiCure, which produces visible light energy in a relatively narrow wavelength band centered at 405 nm. This system is significantly superior to conventional lamp-curing systems, which embody in these aspects: cooler curing temperatures for thermally sensitive substrates, lower intensity degradation, more consistent cure results, and lower costs. The system, using an environmentally friendly LED light source, can be configured to operate in different mode to adapt to changing business needs.

Relying on its highly efficient cooling and high-intensity 405 nm LED light, the BlueWave LED DX-1000 VisiCure can achieve consistent frequency and intensity output for better process control. The system's adjustable intensity ability and long-life LED facilitates superior accuracy versus "closed loop feedback" or auto-adjusting units, and its lower energy usage reduces electricity bills.  Without mechanical shutters or moving parts, the unit produces consistent, reliable bonds and significantly reduces maintenance downtime.

As the industry leader in LED light-curing technology, Dymax has specifically designed the co-optimized adhesives for curing with the BlueWave VisiCure system, enabling customers to quickly and confidently convert to LED light-curing systems.
