Retractable LED Light Designed for the Labor, Delivery and Recovery Room

MAQUET Medical Systems USA yesterday launched its LED concealed lighting system for the Labor, Delivery and Recovery (LDR) room. The retractable LED light sets a new standard in illumination quality, comfort and operational efficiency during the birthing process.

The retractable LED concealed lighting system is designed to provide high-quality lighting and reduce clutter in the LDR room. The System offers a lamp holder that can be easily accessed from the ceiling and easily controlled. Furthermore, the unique lighting technology provides shadow-free, quality illumination, cool color temperature for accurate tissue rendering, and minimal heat output for physician comfort. The System has an aesthetically pleasing back panel comfort light to help create a warm and nurturing environment in the hospital setting and offers a safety mechanism that prevents the ceiling light door from closing if obstructed.
