Philips Adds Life to Residential Lighting with New Master LED Bulbs

Recently Philips in Chengdu announced a new masterpiece: the Master LED bulb. The 7W Master LED bulb has a luminosity equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb with an energy efficiency of around 85 percent. The life span of the bulb is about 15 years with the ability to be switched on and off roughly 50 thousand times. Such a long life span allows consumers to avoid the troublesome task of replacing bulb after bulb.

Through personal experience by the Philips team, they can attest to the stability of the light emitted by the bulb, the evenness of the light color, and the softness of the light beam making it very comfortable for the eyes. The most important aspect is whether the bulb can completely satisfy the costumer’s needs and is able to be used in a variety of locations which need lighting fixtures with sockets, such as living rooms, bedrooms, dens and more.

“Every space in a household is different and consumers should decided on the most suitable LED bulbs depending on the needs of the room and not just because one believes the brighter the better or the more expensive the better. Areas of the house such as the living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom all have different brightness needs. Only if the correct accompanying luminosity and colored LED bulb is used will it be able to compliment the environment of the room and at the same time reaching rational consumption goals,” said a representative of Philips.
