Plastic Logic Showcases World’s First Wearable Flexible Organic OLED Display

Flexible OLED could be an integral part of wearable devices in the near future, according to plastic electronic specialist Plastic Logic. The company will exhibit the world’s first fully organic transistor at the SID Display Week this week in California.

The flexible OLED design is able to fully wrap around the wrist and consists of a bendable screen and full 30 fps image rendering. The company believes that flexible OLED is the key to creating the long sought after bendable, roll-up tablet and is urging OEMs to use them as soon as possible, according to Gizmodo.
