Even though the LED lighting market experienced a downturn in 2016, due to the stronger US dollar, waning European economy, and slowdown in emerging market economic growth, the company’s developments in the European and U.S. market led to the company’s overall steady revenue growth. The company’s released new unique and innovative products on the market to increase product loyalty from clients, while seeking out new markets to generate new revenue drivers.

Aside from spending many years in European and U.S. markets, the company also observed Chinese manufacturers rising lighting product standards. More ambitious Chinese manufacturers are venturing into oversea markets, and these companies are using optics with uniform lighting, which CKO has received large lighting manufacturers orders.

The global smart lighting market growth will accelerate from 2016 to 2020, with revenue soaring from US $2.35 billion to US $13.43 billion during this time frame, estimated LEDinside.
