The ‘Lighting up Lives” project was rolled out in 2014, and is one of PepsiCo Pakistan’s flagship CSR program that provides communities in need with solar lights inside Pepsi bottles. This initiative has helped install hundreds of lights in refugee camps and other areas in need, and is estimated to have helped thousands of lives. PepsiCo aims to increase the project’s reach and light up hundreds of thousands of Pakistani lives in the coming years.
The volunteering activity was arranged in collaboration with Buksh Foundation and Roshni Welfare Association. Volunteers from PepsiCo have installed hundreds of lights at the Roshni village for special persons.
