EVERLIGHT to Sell Shares of Epistar

Stock of LED chip maker Epistar has lately hit a new high, prompting major shareholders by turn sells their shares. The market first saw San’an Optoelectronics sell 33.306 million shares of Epistar in a block trade and now EVERLIGHT also made an announcement to sell a part of Epistar stocks after a board meeting.

EVERLIGHT currently holds 19,800 shares of Epistar, costing approximately NTD 1.43 million (USD 47.5 thousand) or NTD 72.3 per share in comparison to NTD 57 which the stock closed at yesterday.

The company stated Robert Yeh, Chairman of EVERLIGHT was already authorized by the board of directors to decide the price and numbers of shares to sell for the purpose of corporate financial management. Details of the transaction will be announced once it is processed.
