LEDVANCE has set new benchmarks in brand leadership, taking home four prestigious awards at this year’s German Brand Awards. Marking its first major success at the renowned competition, LEDVANCE was recognized in the CATEGORIES SOCIAL MEDIA, BRAND STRATEGY OF THE YEAR, LIGHTING, and CORPORATE BRAND OF THE YEAR.

In early 2024, LEDVANCE revealed its new brand core, “POWER THROUGH LIGHT”, with an emotional, cinematic image film and its first fully-digital global paid media campaign. Rolled out across nine markets and adapted into nine languages, the campaign quickly gained momentum, generating 262 million impressions and 37 million views within just a few weeks.
Awarding LEDVANCE with Brand Strategy of the Year, the German Brand Awards jury highlighted the brand’s impressive transformation through a visually powerful and globally adaptable communication strategy. The project was praised as a prime example of how holistic brand management can create lasting impact - not merely by moving beyond traditional product-driven communication, but by establishing a deeper emotional connection with the target audience and effectively differentiating the brand, as highlighted in the jury statement.
The social media campaign from LEDVANCE stood out for its consistent digital-first approach and the seamless blend of strategic clarity and emotional engagement, setting new standards for digital B2B communication, winning the Brand Award in the category Social Media.
LEDVANCE also received Gold in the Excellent Brands – Lighting category, recognizing its remarkable transformation since becoming an independent brand in 2016 and its consistent and strategic repositioning. The jury praised the brand for its outstanding combination of strategic vision, emotional storytelling, and aesthetic excellence. They highlighted in particular “the blend of modern corporate design, a compelling image film, and a data-driven global campaign that effectively conveys the brand message.” According to the jury, this approach not only differentiates LEDVANCE clearly from its competitors, but also “strikingly demonstrates how light can be staged as a powerful medium.” They concluded that the project “sets benchmarks in its category and impresses with its depth, precision, and aesthetic impact.”
Winning Corporate Brand of the Year highlights the success of LEDVANCE’s brand strategy, which places people and sustainable energy solutions at its core. The jury praised the clear vision and consistent execution, noting how the coherent messaging significantly strengthens the brand’s identity.
