Sagamiko Illumillion Welcomes Festival Season with LED Palace

One of the largest lighting events in northeastern Kanagawa Prefecture, about a one to two hour train ride from Tokyo, Japan, has added a new sparkling LED palace to its display, according to a Japan.com entry.

The 5 million LED lights used at Sagamiko Illumillion to decorate hills and buildings in elaborate lighting patterns.

In Japan, the Sagamiko Illumillion is one of the longest running lighting show, and is open daily from November to January, and after that weekends till mid-April.

Entrance fee is 600 Japanese yen for most illuminated attractions, although a few can cost even more.
