Samsung has filed a patent invalidation lawsuit against LG in an intellectual property (IP) tribunal in their homeland.The former now asks the tribunal to invalidate several LG OLED patents and consequently drop the patent infringement case. Dialight Secures US$400,000 LED Lighting Order from US Solar Thermal Plant

Dialight has secured an order to provide in excess of 1,000 LED lighting fixtures, with a total contract value of approximately US$400,000, for installation at a 250 megawatt (MW) solar thermal power plant in California, US.   The order consists of 1,050 LED Linear fixtures and 30 High Bay fixtures, for use across the power plant, which is made up of two independent 125 MW facilities.
