City of Dallas Cooperated with Lumetech and Lighting Science Group for LED Replacement in Its Parking Garages

It’s said that city of Dallas, TX, has become one of the first major US cities to adopt LED lighting technology for multiple parking garages.

The city has cooperated with Lumetech Group, a provider of commercial LED lighting solutions, and Lighting Science Group for the conversion of five downtown parking garages including Dallas City Hall, Dallas Public Library, the Jack Evans Police Building, the freight terminal beneath Thanksgiving Square and the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center to LED lighting.

It is estimated that the annual energy savings for the City of Dallas will be in excess of 1,700,000 kWh or a 60% reduction in annual energy use.
