We start 2026 with exciting innovations in optical metrology and a strong presence at key international industry events.
In January, we introduce LumiTop X30 AR, our latest camera system for the precise characterization of near-eye displays used in AR glasses. The system will be presented for the first time at SPIE AR/VR/MR 2026 in San Francisco. LumiTop X30 AR combines high spatial resolution with spectroradiometer-based color calibration to deliver highly accurate luminance and color measurements. In addition, it provides detailed analysis of virtual image quality, including sharpness, contrast, distortion and uniformity, making it ideal for R&D environments developing next-generation AR optics and displays.
At SPIE AR/VR/MR, we will also showcase LumiTop X150, a high-resolution imaging system with up to 600 MPx for detailed micro(O)LED analysis, and LumiTop AR/VR, enabling full-field evaluation of VR headsets with fields of view up to 120°. Together with Konica Minolta and Radiant Vision Systems, we will present our latest AR/VR display measurement solutions at booth #6501.
A technical talk by Dr. Sascha Reinhardt will highlight how real-world backgrounds impact virtual image quality in AR glasses.
In parallel, we will be exhibiting at SPIE Photonics West 2026 at the German Pavilion (booth #4205-60). There, we will present our high-end radiometric measurement solutions and reference standards covering a spectral range from UV (200 nm) to NIR (2150 nm). These systems address demanding applications such as VCSEL and NIR LED testing, IEC 62471 photobiological safety assessments, high-accuracy UV measurements, photovoltaic metrology, 2D NIR emission analysis, and MIL-STD-3009 / NVIS lighting evaluation.
We look forward to meeting you in person and discussing your measurement challenges.
