The Littman Group Hosts Grand Opening Ceremony in City of Industry, California on March 22

200,000-Square-Foot Building Reaffirms Company’s Commitment to Local Community and to Manufacturing in the USA

, lighting manufacturer of custom lighting designs and high quality lighting solutions, will officially open the doors of their new, 200,000-square-foot building in City of Industry, California, at their grand opening ceremony on Tuesday, March 22 at 11a.m. The expansive building made up of corporate offices, a manufacturing facility, product showroom and stocking facility is located at 14508 Nelson Ave., on the corner of North Sunset and Nelson in City of Industry.
 
The grand opening ceremony will be attended by the Mayor of City of Industry, David Perez, Councilman Jeff Parriott, IMC/Chamber President Laurie Marshall, the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce, the HR and MO committees, City of Industry Ambassador Group, and several other city officials. The Littman Group president, David Littman, and Steve Nadell, president of Troy-CSL Lighting, Inc., will be on hand to host the ceremony and reaffirm the company’s commitment to the local community.
 
“In challenging economic times, the new facility brings jobs and increased visibility to City of Industry, as well as boosts the morale of employees,” said David Littman, president of The Littman Group. “No detail was overlooked and no expense was spared when it came to the technology, design and construction of our new West Coast headquarters,” Littman concluded.
 
Construction of the new building broke ground in March 2010, and the building was fully operational by December 2010. The manufacturing facility features state-of-the-art capabilities including a new CNC milling station, CNC brake press, CNC laser and a soon to be added automated powder coating system. The company also bolstered their engineering department to focus on advanced LED technology and increased domestic product development. The office features enhanced technology including a new phone system, a 65-inch monitor in the executive conference room and 46-inch monitors in the training room.
 
“We have invested in new manufacturing equipment in order to increase work efficiency and to compete more effectively with offshore production. Our goal is to increase our share of domestic manufacturing in upcoming years,” said Steve Nadell, president of Troy-CSL Lighting, Inc.
 
The new, 200,000-square-foot manufacturing building in Southern California, co-headquarters with the Littman Group’s 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Upstate New York.
