GreenStar Signs Contract with Toshiba International for North America Market

LED lighting manufacturer GreenStar, has made a contract with Houston-based Toshiba International Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toshiba Corp.

They didn’t announce the dollar amount of deal. But according to Mark Altomare, vice president of business development for Toshiba LED Lighting Systems Division, Toshiba’s agreement calls for GreenStar to produce and market LED luminaires for use as roadway and area lighting, and in high- and low-bay applications. He added that, “These products will be available exclusively through Toshiba in North America. Product details will be available at a later date.”

GreenStar was one of the five companies that relocated to San Antonio as part of a partnership with CPS Energy and the city of San Antonio to participate in the city’s new energy economy efforts.
