LIA Launch Mini Guide to Part L for the Building Regulations

The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) have developed Mini Guide to show how Lighting Controls can play a key role in helping to deliver the energy efficiency requirements for lighting required by the Building Regulations.

Revisions to the Building Regulation Documents are expected to be issued by the Government during the Spring of 2013 and come into force in October 2013 and this Guide has been written based on the LIA best understanding of what the revised requirements will be. Once the final documents are published LIA will review them and if necessary make any amendments to this mini guide. In the meantime we hope you find it a very useful guide to using lighting controls to reduce your energy usage and costs from lighting.
