Zhenkun Wang, the general manager of NVC Lighting, recently expressed on "low-carbon lighting • Energy saving global LED lighting design, application and Innovation Forum" organized by the Chinese lighting network and Shenzhen Operations Center of NVC that sales of NVC's LED products are expected to exceed 1 billion Yuan this year.

According to the National 12th Five-Year Plan, the total output value of LED will be up to 500 billion Yuan in 2015.

ZhenKun Wang said that the sales of NVC's LED products was 250 million last year, and its LED lighting sales have been more than 500 million in the first five months of this year, its LED sales is expected to exceed 1 billion.

A recent survey conducted by CCTV shows that the pass rate of domestic LED products is only 50%. LED lighting is currently a lack of uniform industry standards, market barriers are low, and the government preferential policies have attracted large amounts of capital into the field of LED lighting, which caused the downstream lighting product homogeneity and disorderly competition. As the Chinese mandatory lighting safety national standard is expected to be introduced next year, the jumbled Chinese LED industry will face a large-scale reshuffle.
