Ledzworld Unveils High CRI LED MR16 Lamp

Ledzworld announced today its MR16 Chameleon LED lamp now has an industry leading CRI of 98, all while keeping the price of the lamp extremely cost-competitive. The company will be showcasing its range of innovative lamps at LIGHTFAIR in Las Vegas at booth #8430 from June 3-5.

The near perfect CRI ensures Ledzworld’s new MR16 lamps render objects naturally making them an ideal choice for efficiently illuminating retail stores, restaurants, hotels, museums, art galleries, and homes.

“Some of the our largest OEM customers and lighting designers asked us this question: can you produce a high CRI LED lamp without an astronomical price point? Ledzworld’s latest MR16 answers that question with a resounding ‘yes’,” said Ledzworld CEO, Ken Chakravarti. “Not only have we been able to meet this market need, but we have taken it a step further and will offer this high performance lamp with our Chameleon driver and Color Temperature Adjustment (CTA) 2.0 technology.” The lamps will be available in a variety of beam angles including a very narrow spot-beam often requested for retail store applications. 10°, 25°, 40° and 60° are standard and customizations are available upon request.

The company’s innovative Chameleon driver is a technological breakthrough that adjusts itself to its environment by first detecting the transformer type, then analyzing its waveform and finally adjusting itself to make a perfect electrical fit with that particular transformer. This feature makes the MR16 Chameleon retrofit lamps truly “plug and play” devices that can be used in a wide variety of the possible combinations of commonly used drivers and dimmers.

Utilizing Ledzworld’s CTA 2.0 technology, the high CRI LED MR16 Chameleon lamp perfectly emulates the color tones of halogens when dimmed. Unlike other LED lamps that simply reduce output, Ledzworld’s MR16 Chameleon gradually transforms from a bright soft tone color temperature at the highest level, to a warm flame color at the lowest level with CCT ranging from 2700K to 1600K.

“There are other high CRI LED MR16 lamps on the market, but the cost, dimming and compatibility are always a disappointment. Our new product doesn’t disappoint in color quality, dimming, compatibility, or cost—it is the perfect no compromise lighting solution,” finished Chakravarti.
