Floodlight 20 micro LED

The Floodlight FL 20 micro LED from the OSRAM subsidiary Siteco will be available from March 2015, and is a constituent part of the new Floodlight 20 LED luminaire family. The compact micro-floodlight with a rated luminous flux of approximately 3,000 Lumens is suitable for area lighting and facade illumination tasks.

The luminaire ensures optimum performance at mounting heights of up to 3 meters. High levels of flexibility are provided for highly diverse, efficient wide-area lighting thanks to a compact and high performance construction with three different light distribution characteristics (symmetric, rotationally symmetric and asymmetric), two light colors of 3,000 and 4,000 Kelvin and three fixing options.

An optimum matched system of LEDs, lens-based lighting technology and high quality housing guarantees optimum system efficiency of more than 112 Lumens per Watt and a long lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. The LED floodlight also features various light management functions using the intelligent OSRAM QT3DIM control gear, for example the individual configuration of dimming levels according to requirements. The luminaire is thus a contemporary and innovative replacement for existing conventional 30 Watt floodlight solutions.

Floodlight 20 micro characterizes the family concept of the new floodlight range in terms of both design and technology: All construction sizes feature identical proportions, the same qualitative materials and language of design. In terms of lighting technology, all use the same lens-based LED platform featuring precise light control and glare-minimized lighting technology to achieve maximum quality of light and optimum visual comfort. The design principle is also identical: Each construction size consists of three functional units – the LED module, the housing with ECG and the mounting components. This ensures maximum ease of mounting, and, thanks to the modular design and high quality, also provides a future-safe and sustainable investment.
