With a light output in the 0.5 watt range, the OSIRE™ E3030 becomes an integral element of vehicle design—in both function and aesthetics. It is built to be robust, resistant to vibration and temperature fluctuations, meeting established automotive standards. Thus, it is particularly relevant for applications where light increasingly serves as a means of communication and visibility is essential, including adaptive signaling or Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems. In addition to these applications, the OSIRE™ E3030 is highly suitable for backlighting strongly absorbent decorative materials, such as piano varnish or wood, enabling so-called hidden-until-lit applications.

To meet these high requirements, ams OSRAM has developed its OSIRE™ E3030, delivering significantly enhanced light output. With its precise binning, the OSIRE™ E3030 positions itself in the 0.5 W power class. Depending on the selected color location, it delivers typical luminous emissions for red and blue ranging from 22.4 to 40 lumen or from 7.1 to 14 lumen at a binning current of 200 mA, and from 28 to 50 lumen for green at a binning current of 150 mA. The wide range of available wavelengths enables the creation of an expanded color gamut, from which users of the KRTB DSLP31.33 can choose the one that best suits their needs. The individually addressable color channels give users maximum flexibility in terms of color selection and color mixing. The delta arrangement of the LED chips ensures exceptional color-over-angle performance—a decisive advantage when coupling light into circular light guides. The low component height of just 0.6 mm and the compact footprint of 3.0 mm x 3.0 mm allow for the implementation of highly demanding applications where the space requirement of individual components is crucial.

The LED is AEC-Q102 qualified, meeting the stringent quality standards of the automotive industry. Even industrial and consumer applications that must perform reliably in harsh environmental conditions benefit from this exceptional robustness.
