Nichia reported that the company has reached a judicial settlement with Corlant, a distributor of automotive aftermarket parts under the brand of Valenti, during the proceeding at Tokyo District Court on March 19, 2020. Under the settlement, Corlant acknowledged that the accused products fall within the scope of Nichia’s patents in relation to PSS technology.
