This is the first lighting upgrade for the campus, which will move from fluorescent technology to the OSRAM ENCELIUM networked lighting management system and the latest LED technologies.

ENCELIUM will provide UNMC with increased flexibility in lighting design, and will provide the university with significant savings due to reduced energy costs.

Phase I of the multi-year project will include retrofitting two research facilities totaling approximately 675,000 square feet.

Installation will begin in the coming weeks.
