Edison Opto to See Growth in First Quarter

Operations for LED manufacturers in the first quarter are hoped to show good performance, according to UDN Evening News report. Increased operations in Jan. 2014 have lead to many manufacturers continual growth. Due to the strong revenues, the market is optimistic and anticipates financial results from 1Q14 slack season financial reports to show a revenue  decline  within  5-10 percent. Among these manufacturers, Edison Opto has been able to secure new clients.

The company will begin lighting module shipments in March and hope that revenue will drive up growth momentum. Legal persons estimate that Edison 1Q14 revenue will increase 15-20 percent, an improvement compared to the revenue drop in 1Q13. January has already felt the effects of increased LED lighting demands, said Edison Opto. Low to High power LED product orders have all grown. The company is optimistic that the entire LED lighting market will see growth this year.
