Korean LED manufacturer Seoul Semiconductor announced a major win against Japanese lens maker Enplas in U.S. courts, which decided it should receive US $4 million for damages.

Lastly, as Europe rolls out its halogen phase out as of Sept. 1, 2016, Philips Lighting and Osram’s former general lighting business LEDVANCE cover the extent and impact of the phase out.

With a lot of market hype surrounding Apple’s upcoming OLED iPhone in the past year, Innolux surprisingly commented this might just be a temporary solution before micro-LEDs are ready for mass production.
