The LED push up bras is the latest design of an LED attire company Electric Styles. The company has extended its lineup of LED bras launched back in 2010 to six different styles, and in 14 different sizes from A-D cup.

In continuing the pursuit of sustainability, Philips Lightolier’s Calculite White LED luminaires are the latest in LED lighting innovation. Hammerhead Navigation, a U.S. company has started a fundraising campaign on Dragon Innovation for its LED bike navigation system that can be programmed with a smartphone. The navigation system, Hammerhead, makes cycling safer as it saves cyclists the trouble of checking their smartphones for locations and routes while on the road. The bright RGB LEDs signal different information according to its array on the device.

Future Lighting Solutions LED department announced completing renovations of National Wet Land Museum of China’s night lights in a joint project with Yajiang Applied Technology (YAT).When the museum was established in 2010 it came with night lights, but the design did not include its landmark tourist tower. The new LED design uses energy saving “green” lighting systems produces purer colors with warmer color temperature and more distinctive night view effects from a distance. The design used in total 144 LED linear wall washer lamps, and 36 1W LED bulbs were installed at an interval of one meter.

In another step to innovate the future of automotive lighting, Osram takes the opportunity ahead of the Frankfurt International Motor Show to unveil its product roadmap for OLEDs used in automotive applications. “We have essentially achieved road suitability for our OLEDs this year and will be offering initial special equipment based on OLEDs next year," said Ulrich Eisele, head of OLED sector at Osram. "We expect to see OLEDs used in series production of new vehicles by 2016 earliest.” The show is being held from September 12 to September 22, 2013.

Aixtron SE announced gas manufacturer Air Water Inc. based in Azumino, Japan has successfully installed a fully automated AIX G5 HT Planetary Reactorin a 8x6-inch configuration for the growth of GaN epitaxial layers. Following the system installation, the company has announced the release of GaN-on-SiC on silicon substrates for this year.

 LED continues to be the main technology for interior and exterior lighting. The successor, OLED, is already on the starting blocks.Osram Opto Semiconductors (Osram) recently shared its insights on applications and developments in automotive lighting. The German semiconductor manufacturer explains that OLEDs will be the next emerging trend for automotive lighting. 

Interactive chandeliers designed by Japanese lighting designer Motoko Ishii and manufactured by Japanese semiconductor manufacturer ROHM will be on display at the one of the world’s largest interior design exhibition Maison & Objet that will run from Sept. 6-10 in Paris, France.
