Taiwan BenQ launched three new 24” LED backlight monitors including a 3D model, aiming at the models at the home, business and gaming markets in Australia.
This 120 Hz monitor outputs two sets of images at 6Hz which are then synchronised using 3D glasses. Native resolution is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resulting in most output files being supported.
The monitor that comes with a solid stand that slides up and down on a pole allows the display screen to be easily adjusted to a suitable height.

According to the report of CNA, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) invested NT$18 million (US$586,800) to install more than 500 intelligent LED street lamps in three major parking lots in Sanchong City, Taiwan County, with the aim of cutting electricity consumption by at least 70% to promote green power.
According to MOEA officials, the intelligent system will adjust the intensity of the lights by detecting the level of usage, such as the presence of pedestrians or vehicles, and thus reduce electricity consumption.
